# Manage Polkadex Validators

How to manage your Polkadex Validators in Nova Wallet!

{% hint style="info" %}
Validators can often vary in the amount of time that they are elected and their performance. These factors ultimately can affect the amount of staking rewards you earn from nominating them. As such, Nova Wallet recommends that you monitor your Validator's performance on a semi-frequent basis.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Nova Wallet by default will nominate your stake to recommended Validators. These Validators are selected by an algorithm every staking era (24 hours on Polkadex) based on a range of security and profitability criteria. You can manually select Validators if you so desire at any time.
{% endhint %}

You can change the Validators which you stake with at any time:

1. Open the Nova Wallet application.
2. `Select` the **Staking** **screen**.
3. `Select` your staking position, in this case, would be **Polkadex** **PDEX**.
4. From the **Polkadex** **staking** **screen** `select` "**Your** **validators**".
5. From the Your validators screen `select` **Change**.
6. You can now choose to select Nova Wallet's recommended validators, or you can choose to select them by yourself.
7. Once you are happy with your validators `select` **Continue**.
8. Review the contextual information including any associated fees and `select` **Confirm**.
9. Your validators will now be updated in the next staking era.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.novawallet.io/nova-wallet-wiki/staking/polkadex-pdex-staking/manage-polkadex-validators.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
