# Add Call Data to a Multisig Transaction

If a multisig operation is initiated from outside of Nova Wallet, the signatories may need to input the call data manually to see what transaction they are signing In this case, the creator of the transaction should share the call data that originates from whichever tool they used to create the transaction.

{% hint style="info" %}
It is important to share the multisig call data for the purpose of transparency. The call data includes all of the information about the call. This cannot be done with just the call hash. It is good practice to always verify that the call data matches the call hash in any case.
{% endhint %}

1. `Select` the multisig wallet by selecting the identicon at the top right of the Assets screen, and then selecting the multisig wallet.
2. From the Assets screen, `select` the **Transactions to sign** button located above your assets.
3. `Select` the multisig operation that you wish to review.
4. `Select` the **Enter call data** button.
5. `Input` the call data provided by the creator of the transaction. You will see the transaction details after that.
6. Review the contextual information and `select` **Approve**. If you are the final signer, this button will be the **Approve and Execute** button.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.novawallet.io/nova-wallet-wiki/wallet-management/multisig-wallets/add-call-data-to-a-multisig-transaction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
