# Create Multisig Transaction

You can create multisig transactions directly from Nova Wallet, such as sending assets on the same network, cross-chain transfers, staking, and participating in governance.

1. `Select` your multisig wallet by selecting the identicon at the top right of the Assets screen and then selecting the multisig.
2. Create the transaction in Nova Wallet like you normally would. If you're new to Nova Wallet, check this section of our Wiki: [Asset Management](/nova-wallet-wiki/asset-management/view-token-balance.md).
3. When confirming the transaction, you will see a pop-up notifying your wallet as the initiator of the multisig transaction has to temporarily lock up (deposit) some tokens. The tokens will be unlocked automatically when the transaction is either approved or rejected. Make sure that you have enough tokens to cover the deposit and transaction fees.
4. Review the contextual information and `select` **Confirm**.
5. Your fellow signatories should now review and sign the transaction.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.novawallet.io/nova-wallet-wiki/wallet-management/multisig-wallets/create-multisig-transaction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
