Add Additional Ledger Accounts

How to add additional Ledger accounts (Derived Accounts) to Nova Wallet!

Ensure that the appropriate application (for the correct network) is open & ready on your Ledger Nano X prior to initiating a transaction.

The following steps include actions you must perform on both your Ledger Device and your Nova Wallet Device.

Actions for each device are clearly labeled below.

1. Open the Nova Wallet application and select the identicon at the top right of the Assets screen.

2. Select the cogwheel icon at the top right of the screen.

3. Select Add Wallet.

4. Select Import existing.

5. Select Hardware Wallet.

6. Select Ledger Nano X.

7. Unlock your Ledger Nano X and start the relevant application (Ledger Nano X).

8. Once your Ledger's display states [Network] ready, then select Continue on your Nova Wallet device. If requested, allow Nova Wallet access to your location, finding nearby devices, and enable Bluetooth.

9. Select your Ledger Device on your Nova Wallet device.

10. To add additional (derived) Ledger accounts, select "Load more accounts".

11. Select the derived Ledger account that you wish to add to your Nova Wallet.

12. You will be presented with a list of accounts for each network that will be added, if you are happy with this then select Continue on your Nova Wallet.

13. Read the on-screen prompt and then review & approve the operation on your Ledger Nano X. The address appearing on your Ledger device should match the one shown in Nova Wallet.

14. Name your wallet within Nova Wallet and then selectContinue.
