# Export Mnemonic Passphrase

1. Open the Nova Wallet application.
2. `Select` the **identicon** at the top right of the screen.
3. `Select` the **settings** option (cogwheel).
4. `Select` the **account** that you wish to export.
5. `Select` a **network**, in most cases you can choose Polkadot.
6. `Select` **Export account**.
7. `Select` **Mnemonic Passphrase**.
8. `Input` your **pin** or provide **biometric** authorization.
9. `Tap` on **I Understand** in the notification popup.
10. Reveal your mnemonic passphrase by tapping on the blurry card.
11. Carefully review and accept the options to double-check your passphrase.

### Alternative Way to Export Mnemonic Passphrase

1. Open the Nova Wallet application.
2. `Select` the **Settings** tab.
3. `Select` **Backup**.
4. `Select` **Back up manually**.
5. `Select` the **account** that you wish to export.
6. `Input` your **pin** or provide **biometric** authorization.
7. Carefully review and accept the warnings.
8. `Select` **Confirm**.
9. Reveal your mnemonic passphrase by tapping on the blurry card.
