# Ledger Devices

Nova Wallet supports the following Ledger devices via **Bluetooth** connection: **Ledger Nano X**, **Ledger Flex**, and **Ledger Stax** hardware wallets.

On **Android**, Nova Wallet also supports **USB** connection for the following Ledger devices: **Ledger Nano X**, **Ledger Nano S Plus**, and **Ledger Nano S**.

All Ledger devices are cryptocurrency wallets that store the user's private keys in a secure hardware device. The main principle behind these hardware wallets is to provide full isolation between the private keys and your computer or smartphone.

**Ledger does NOT support every parachain** – you should take care when transferring tokens such as DOT to a parachain when you are using a Ledger device. You should contact the individual parachain's team to ensure that you can sign transactions with Ledger devices on their parachain.

There are some features of Nova Wallet which are **not supported** by Ledger products.

It may be required for you to **turn OFF airplane mode** in order for you to initiate transactions with your Ledger Nano X.
